Particle Circus is a live event that transcends the confines of a conventional performance by presenting a broad range of curated performances and media otherwise unseen on a single stage. The event brings together local vendors, chefs, and bay area performers for a night of full of multi-sensory entertainment.

For the first part of the night guests were invited to enjoy more than 15 local vendors and an assortment of gastronomic offerings, followed by surprise performances that would take over the event space. This created something unique for artists and invited an atypical audience to experience a diverse mix of media artists in one place.

To achieve this, I worked primarily with Ian Levine and Palanza Dance to choreograph two animations: one to introduce the opening act and another to accompany the final performance of the night.

While our design for the intro was intended to feel textural and dramatic, the design for the final performance is simple, fluid and graphic intended to emphasize the movement of the dancers and provide vivid pops of color and light.
